The Laboratory of Excellence RESOURCES21 (LabEx R21) has a budget of over €13 million for the period 2011-2024. Created in 2011, the LabEx RESSOURCES21 was renewed for the period 2019-2024. RESSOURCES21 enables the Lorraine-based laboratories involved to structure their research landscape in order to be at the forefront of innovation worldwide. The Laboratory of Excellence “RESSOURCES21” (LabEx R21) has allowed the participating Lorraine laboratories to structure their research landscape in such a way as to place themselves at the cutting-edge of global innovation. The multidisciplinary researchers leading the project share two key goals: (1) to improve our understanding of the processes linked to metal circulation mechanisms, and (2) to develop revolutionary tools and concepts for improved exploitation of metal resources.
